Education: JD, or foreign equivalency, or LLM. At least one (1) course in the U.S. Immigration Law and One (1) course in legal research and writing included in Juris Doctor (JD) or Master’s of laws (LL.M) programs.
Duties: Draft and develop legal and business documents such as testimonials, petitioner’s letters, supporting letters, work assignments, newsletters, and non-disclosure agreements for the clients based on the ongoing legal research. Research and review USCIS policy memoranda, federal regulations, conference materials, laws, and government manuals, such as Adjudicator’s Field Manual (AFM) and Foreign Affairs Manual (FAM). Summarize immigration concepts and present strategic legal analysis to the partners at Law Office of Marina Serebryanaya and Mark Nemtsov and Mark Nemtsov P.C. Re-state and interpret legal and business terminology into accessible, compelling, and relevant content for nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions, including petitions for persons of extraordinary ability.

Business immigration paralegal
We look for a part-time contract law clerk, paralegal or legal intern. Must have experience in preparing visa petitions (L-1, TN, E-3, O-1) as well as PERM, I-140, EB-1 Multinational Manager or Extraordinary Ability, AOS.
Must have excellent research, organizational, writing and proofreading skills (we conduct short tests during an interview.)
